Pasadena Heights Community Church has scheduled a special project for families. they will be giving away school supplies and backpacks. Its in East Abilene Between East Highway 80, Northway and Fair Streets. It’s scheduled from 10 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, August 17th. They have two-hundred and 50 backpacks to give away on a first-come, first-served basis. School children must be present to get the supplies. For questions, please call 669-6335.
